About the Role
You will be responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
You will also be responsible for ensuring own professional development including clinical skills and knowledge in order to successfully deliver a safe empathetic and exceptional procedural experience to our patients in this niche nursing role.
Supports the physical and emotional safety of patients throughout their procedural journey
Scout and scrub for all cardiac procedures such as angiograms PCI pacing cardiac biopsy and structural heart.
Participate in department education and meetings as requested.
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69253.60 - $92601.60 pro rata per annum).
Your Contribution
Degree in general nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
Cath Lab experience essential
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain/ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to obtain (Select which is applicable)

The Cardiac Investigation Unit at St Vincents is an innovative cardiac catheter laboratory with a focus on interventional cardiology. The unit functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team that offers the full range of cardiac diagnostic services. The unit operates Monday to Friday with an on-call roster operating for the
Registered Nurses. The multidisciplinary team of clinicians strive to provide the highest level of evidence-based care and best possible outcomes
