About the role
In this key role at St Vincents support the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing all financial functions and governance for St Vincents Health Network Sydney its Trustees and the Curran Foundation.
Lead a team of 17 finance staff
Manage all financial accounting & related activities including cashflow audit insurance & financial statements
Build systems and processes to ensure financial sustainability
Actively manage supplier relationships and expenditures to achieve value for money
Work with the Financial Planning team to monitor budgets analyse trends & investigate variances
Enjoy a flexible working environment working from the hospital in Darlinghurst and from home
About you
Youre a motivating leader experienced in leading high-performing finance teams in large organisations
You have an eye for detail and can effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Youre a proactive problem-solver able to provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership
You possess a high level of proficiency with various financial management systems and applications
Ideally you will have experience within the healthcare sector

In this role you will be based at St Vincents hospital Darlinghurst.

Closely partnered with universities & affiliated research institutes many of which are located on-campus
Centres of excellence include heart & lung transplantation bone marrow transplantation cardiology cancer care AIDS/HIV respiratory medicine mental health homeless health drug & alcohol services and correctional health
