Courtroom Assistant
The Colorado Springs Municipal Court is seeking a Courtroom Assistant to support the judicial processing of courtroom activities and this critical role you will perform duties requiring specialized knowledge in courtroom procedures ensuring the accuracy and compliance of case processing while maintaining courtroom decorum. Youll also serve as a vital resource to judges attorneys and court staff in the execution of daily court functions.
*This position is subject to budget-required furloughs to be implemented in the 2026 calendar year and any furloughs subsequently approved.*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office court case management systems and justice information systems.
Strong knowledge of courtroom procedures legal terminology and applicable federal state and local laws.
Ability to interpret judicial orders and apply rules of criminal and civil procedure.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Professionalism emotional maturity integrity and honesty in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
