About the Role
Ventia is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Engineer to support the delivery of the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangements (AGFMA) contract in South Australia.
Based at our Wakefield Street office this role will ensure the accuracy of asset data technical compliance and continuous improvement across maintenance planning and asset operations. Youll work closely with key stakeholders including Facility Asset Managers Strategic Asset Management and Planning teams to support the optimisation of asset performance and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate HOTO (Hand Over Take Over) documentation from subcontractors and PMO.
- Ensure compliance documents are up to date and incorporated into maintenance schedules.
- Approve decommissioned assets for removal from registers and maintenance planning.
- Develop and review Technical Data Sheets (TDSs) to align with Australian Standards codes of practice and client requirements.
- Provide day-to-day technical support and guidance to Facility Asset Managers.
- Collaborate with Planning and Scheduling teams to ensure all maintenance obligations are effectively integrated.
- Support refinement of asset condition ratings and lifecycle modelling with Strategic Asset Management.
- Promote and actively contribute to SHEQ (Safety Health Environment & Quality) best practices and compliance.
What Were Looking For
- 7 years experience in facilities management or operational engineering roles.
- In-depth knowledge of legislated asset maintenance requirements and BCA compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply technical data to improve asset performance.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
- Strong communication problem-solving and technical documentation skills.
- A current Drivers Licence (essential).
