This role is based out of our Oakville office and will report to the Director Manufacturing Excellence.

Job Summary

The Business Process Owner (BPO) Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing the optimization and integration of business processes related to operational data. This role serves as the key liaison between data management teams IT and business partners to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization.

Principal Responsibilities

• Continuously improve business processes to enhance efficiency and quality
• Supervise team of Operational Business Data Analysts
• Monitor data workflows and process blockers solve process-related issues & adjust corresponding data as needed
• Work with the Data Governance team to establish practices to ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Help to define develop and document operational data processes standards and procedures
• Own manufacturing data standards and definitions
• Action and drive completion within the business of data quality controls and standards
• Handle the remediation of data audits and validations
• Act as the main point of contact for manufacturing teams to ensure alignment
• Collaborate with Data Governance IT BPEs data analysts and business units to align data initiatives with organizational goals
• Collaborate with other business teams cross-functionally to drive process improvements and solve blockers
• Deliver training and support on data processes to end users

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Data Management Information Systems or a related field
• Certification in Lean six sigma is an asset
• 5 years of experience in data management process improvement or a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• 3 years of experience managing a team
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA
• Consistent track record of driving process improvements and data quality initiatives
• Project management experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills with strong business sense
• Ability to influence guide and support others to achieve goals and drive initiatives forward
