Our single location single owner digital and modern state of the art orthodontic office is located in North Central Austin on Parmer Lane between Mopac and Lamar. Dr. Desai is board certified a member of the local community and will be practicing in the same location for years to come.
As anExperienced Dental Records and Sterilization Technicianyou will ensure high quality patient experiences efficiency and productivity through adhering to sterilization protocols and accurate record keeping. Daily responsibilities include:
Setup instruments equipment and materials for patients
Clean sterilize sort and package instruments
Assist the orthodontist through 4-handed dentistry
Scan patients using our iTERO
Provide oral hygiene care instructions to new and current patients
In a team environment keep the facility clean stocked and organized
Maintain accurate patient records
Answer calls when necessary
Qualifications:
Experience with dental/orthodontic assisting sterilization and record keeping
Strong knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable using standard office software and with acquiring knowledge of orthodontic office software
High School Diploma/GED
First Aid CPR certification
Registered Dental Assistant certification is desired
Bilingual Spanish speaking is desired
Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Mon - Friday 8:30am - 6pm; Saturday 8:30am - 3pm; 2 clinic days per week and administrative days for additional hours.
