Job Type: Contract / Travel
Shift: Night 11:00 PM 7:00 AM 5 shifts/week (5x8s)
Pay: $55 $60/hour ($2200 $2400 per week)
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Radiology Technologistfor an exciting job in Hackensack NJ.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic exams and operate imaging equipment.
Follow radiation safety practices (coning collimation).
Conduct portable X-rays in patient rooms OR and ER.
Correctly label films and maintain accurate records.
Assist with radiopaque contrast media administration.
Support scheduling patient instructions and record maintenance.
Assist patients with mobility positioning and comfort.
Maintain clean organized radiology rooms.
Deliver age- and culture-appropriate patient care.
Follow hospital safety standards and organizational policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements.
New Jersey State Radiology License.
Eligible for National Registry and able to pass exam.
