About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Search Marketing you will work closely with the team and key stakeholders to define lead and optimise Technical SEO strategies processes and partnerships designed to increase the organic visibility of the Sportsbet website and increase customer and commercial outcomes from an optimised organic footprint.
Supported by a Technical Specialist and external agencies youll lead internal and external teams in execution of key strategic initiatives consulting in Go To Market strategies and ensuring technical surety ahead of periods of increased seasonal importance.
- Develop implement & be able to clearly communicate Technical SEO Strategy
- Collaborate with the SEO Content Manager to ensure necessary synergies across Tech & Content are identified and accountabilities defined
- SEO Tech stack ownership encompassing RFPs strategic and operational alignment budgeting and relationship management
- Build and execute an experimentation roadmap testing new products features and customer centric hypotheses which foster innovation and growth
- Proactively determine how new SEO trends will impact the business but also translate into opportunities for the brands and the customer
- Lead develop and grow team member against objectives and their individual development plans
- Play an active and visible leadership role across the Customer Marketing Team driving engagement and development
- Collaborate with the wider SEO and SEM teams to promote the role & impact of Search across the business
About You

- Strong analytical skills able to diagnose issues identify patterns and solve problems creatively

- A thought leader in the SEO space comfortable contributing to industry conversations mentoring others and influencing direction across teams
- Deep understanding of roles of technical SEO and content strategies in delivering successful SEO outcomes
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks based on customer and commercial impact
- Collaborative by nature able to bridge technical and non-technical teams to drive scalable future-focused solutions.
- Strong demonstrable understanding of CMS systems front and back-end dependencies and how best to leverage to drive SEO outcomes a must (experience with Drupal is highly regarded)
- Proven leadership skills to support Tech Lead and manage the Technical SEO agency
