Trainee Track Worker - Tauranga
- Located in Tauranga
- Full training and penal rates included
- Start rate of $29.68 per hour

He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi About the role
- Work collaboratively to carry out maintenance repair and upgrades to rail infrastructure
- Training will include classroom learning on-the-job training and practical experience to gain knowledge and confidence
- Operate tools and minor equipment under supervision gaining competency as you progress
- An active physical role where teamwork and safety come first
- Be prepared to work shifts including early mornings nights weekends and public holidays
- Monday to Sunday 80 hours per fortnight on a rotational roster

- A clean NZ Drivers License Class 1 is essential in this role
- A team player who communicates openly and respectfully
- Safety focused and the courage to ask questions when unsure
- The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Physically active quick learner who enjoys practical hands-on work
- You must be able to pass a CAT1 pre-employment medical assessment (highest safety criticality)
- Flexibility to work shifts including night shift overnights and callouts once fully trained
