This role is ideal for someone with general knowledge of the physical/electronic security industry and a strong established network in corporate retail and commercial markets in South Florida. Someone who thrives on building long-term partnerships with commercial and industrial clients including high-end retail commercial real estate warehousing/logistics healthcare and corporate enterprises.

About the Role
As the Private Sector Business Development Manager you will focus on developing new business opportunities with commercial and corporate clients by leveraging your established relationships and industry expertise. You will manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to proposal negotiation and contract closure while fostering lasting partnerships with industry leaders. You ll also play a vital role in driving revenue growth and expanding the company s presence in South Florida s dynamic business scene.

What You ll Be Doing
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities with private sector clients such as retail hospitality healthcare corporate campuses and industrial facilities among others.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to create customized solutions for access control CCTV intrusion detection and integrated security solutions.
  • Deliver proposals and high-impact presentations to commercial decision-makers.
  • Negotiate pricing terms and contracts while ensuring profitability and long-term client partnerships.
  • Maintain strong relationships with general contractors property managers and corporate security leaders.
  • Represent the company at industry networking events.
  • Generate regular pipeline and progress reports and participate in internal and client meetings.
  • Stay current with the latest security technology industry trends and competitor activity.
What You Bring
  • Knowledge of physical security solutions and the security industry.
  • Proven success in B2B sales within private industry sectors.
  • Strong established network in corporate retail and commercial markets in South Florida.
  • Experience selling complex technology-driven solutions.
  • Proficiency in lead generation prospecting and sales pipeline management.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Work Environment & Other Requirements
  • Must be able to sit stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent ground travel and occasional air travel for sales events.
  • Occasional weekend holiday or after-hours availability may be required.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs and adjust to varied work environments.
  • Valid passport and valid driver s license with clean record.
