Registered Manager Childrens Home
Salary: Up to 70000 p/a
This is a rare opportunity to join a brand-new childrens residential service as their Registered Manager leading with empathy integrity and a trauma-informed approach.

What Were Looking For:
- Minimum Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare.
- Ideally 2 years experience managing a childrens home with a proven track record of good OFSTED outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care PACE approach safeguarding legislation and childrens home regulations.
- Experience in setting up and running a childrens home is advantageous.
- Confident leadership skills able to handle challenging situations and provide reflective supervision.
- Willingness to complete OFSTED fit test.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Commitment to promoting the childs voice and providing nurturing empowering care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the childrens home ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
- Lead and support a team to deliver trauma-informed care aligned with PACE principles.
- Ensure all statutory records incident reporting and SOPs are maintained to a robust standard.
- Coordinate staff rotas contingency planning and on-call duties.
- Conduct meaningful reflective supervisions identifying areas for staff support and implementing tailored development plans.
- Oversee induction training and ongoing professional development for all staff members.
- Monitor and maintain safeguarding procedures legislation compliance and OFSTED standards.
- Support the setup of a new home if required and contribute to the continuous improvement of care practices.
