Job Summary

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be working on behalf of a growing and well regarded accountancy practice based in Tunbridge Wells who are looking to recruit a Client Manager on a part time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accounts professional who enjoys building strong client relationships delivering high quality work and working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

Working closely with a Senior Client Manager you will support a varied portfolio of clients ensuring their accounting tax and advisory needs are met accurately and on time. The role offers a good balance of hands on technical work and client interaction.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Reviewing accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Payroll preparation and payment processing
  • Review and completion of VAT returns
  • Bookkeeping duties
  • Supporting and guiding junior team members
  • Monitoring deadlines and compliance requirements
  • Working with colleagues to resolve client queries and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Contributing to process improvements and efficiencies


Requirements

You will ideally have:
  • AAT Level 4 qualification as a minimum
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role within practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks or FreeAgent
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Required Skills:

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
