We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Public Relations Specialist to join our growing marketing this role you will play a critical part in shaping and maintaining our organizations public image and reputation. As a Public Relations Specialist you will develop and implement strategic communication plans that effectively convey our core messages to various audiences including the media stakeholders and the general public.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to enhance the organizations image and visibility.
- Draft and distribute press releases media advisories and other public relations materials to targeted media outlets.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists bloggers and influencers to secure media coverage and foster goodwill.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for public relations engagement.
- Coordinate and manage press events conferences and media interviews to support key initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create consistent messaging across all communication platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications Marketing or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in public relations or a related area.
- Strong writing editing and verbal communication skills to convey messages clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in media relations and understanding of the news cycle.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
