description:
Multi-Modality SpecialistResponsible for the operation of x-ray computed tomography ultrasound MRI nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis.

Variable Shift; CT and X Ray skillset needed. 4 x 10s; scanner is a Siemens 64 SomatomEducation and Work Experience:Associates Degree in radiologic technology: RequiredBachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors): PreferredMasters Degree: PreferredThree years technical experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredRadiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: RequiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification: RequiredMust have a current certification in one of the modalities and able to perform duties in at least one other advanced modality: Computed Tomography (CT) Mammography(M) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Nuclear Medicine (NM) Sonography(S) or Positron Emission Tomography (PET): RequiredARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R): RequiredARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) or ARRT-Mammography (ARRT-M) or ARRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or ARRT-Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-NMT) or State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT) or ARRT-Sonography (ARRT-S) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or RTPET: Required
