Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)What does a successful Senior Site Reliability Engineer do at Fiserv
A successful Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Fiserv ensures the reliability scalability and performance of our systems. They blend software engineering principles with operational discipline to create and maintain high-performing applications and services continually improving through automation and process reengineering.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Automate operational tasks and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture with business objectives.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies.
- Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation.
What you will need to have:
- 6 years of experience in solutions architecture and design.
- 3 years of experience with Java C# or Python in development and integration.
- 3 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related technical field and/or 6 years of relevant work experience.
What would be great to have:
- 3 years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- 3 years of experience with the Spring framework including Spring Boot
Salary Range
$146000.00 - $244800.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
