Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Control Engineer to support the development implementation and testing of HMI and SCADA systems for generator control switchgear applications. This role is ideal for candidates early in their engineering career who are eager to learn solve problems and grow within a structured engineering environment.
You will work closely with the HMI and Power Systems Engineering teams contributing to software design hardware configuration validation and field support activities.
Education & Experience Requirements
Required: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical Manufacturing preferred) Computer Science or related field.
Alternative: Associate degree (2-year) with 4 years of relevant experience.
Experience Level: 0-2 years; relevant internships count.
Disqualifier: Candidates with a Masters degree or higher will not be considered for this entry-level role.

Design & Development:
Develop convert and implement software for HMI applications used in generator control systems.
Hardware Configuration:
Program configure and test HMI hardware components.
Collaboration & Validation:
Work with Power Systems Engineers to test and validate HMI programming.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide remote support during installation and resolve field-related HMI issues.
Project Execution:
Assist in following an electrical design schedule to meet project deadlines.
