Role Purpose:
The Head of Delegated Underwriting leads and empowers a diverse team across Everest International fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. This role is responsible for the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of delegated underwriting operations ensuring data accuracy regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mentor and develop the Delegated Underwriting team promoting an inclusive and supportive culture.
Oversee delegated operations including EPI maintenance bordereaux management and policy data quality assurance.
Deliver timely and accurate operational metrics and reporting to internal committees and senior leadership.
Manage profit commission processes documented procedures and post-bind lifecycle activities.
Champion process improvements and ensure alignment across underwriting operations and outsourcing partners.
Lead delegated underwriting projects including system upgrades and vendor collaborations.
Ensure effective governance audit readiness and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Act as a key point of contact for outsourcing and operational resilience strategies.
Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on delegated underwriting practices.
Skills & Competencies:
Proven leadership experience within a Lloyds Managing Agent or insurance company.
Excels in stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Expertise in bordereaux management and policy administration systems.
Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Skilled in managing MI tools and delivering actionable insights.
