Job Summary
Galgo is a Series B fintech and marketplace that enables motorcycle ownership across Mexico Colombia and Chile through embedded finance tailored to the underbanked and a unique dealer network. We combine inventory distribution with credit solutions to unlock mobility and income opportunities for our customers. Today Mexico and Colombia represent 90% of our revenue and are already profitable. Over the next 24 months we aim to triple our size launch new solutions for both customers and sellers expand into Brazil and achieve USD 10 million in annual profits. Our capital requirements are 100% covered for the next 36 months and a new capital increase might not be necessary as the company can finance itself with its own cash flow by 2027
Thats why we are looking for our next Underwriting Manager to join a high-performance team. The main responsibilities will include:
Driving conversion in line with Galgos credit risk appetite and IRR through the design and evolution of credit products underwriting policies and processes pricing and product mix for Galgos funnel. This will be achieved through the following responsibilities (to be listed):
We are looking for someone who brings the following:
- Experience in revenue management and trade-off decision making
- Strong results orientation with a business-driven mindset independence and growth ambition
-Background in credit risk management underwriting or analytics within financial institutions or fintechs
- Solid knowledge of applied statistics modeling and data analysis
- Proven ability to lead teams and cross-functional projects integrating both technical and strategic perspectives
