Whats the role
Were looking for aSenior Manager Prudential Governanceto join our team and play a key role in supporting and overseeing compliance with APRAs credit risk and capital adequacy prudential standards. Youll be the subject matter expert on prudential governance helping ensure Westpac maintains a strong control environment and meets its regulatory obligations.
Youll work closely with stakeholders across the credit risk lifecycle from origination to write-off - to identify and remediate control weaknesses manage governance forums and provide insights on regulatory interpretation.
Youll also support APRA engagements manage prudential attestations and maintain enterprise registers of deficiencies and material interpretations. This is a high-impact role that supports both strategic projects and day-to-day operations with visibility across senior leadership and committees.
This is a fulltime 12-month Fixed term role based in Sydney with flexible hybrid working arrangements available.
