This role is eligible for our hybrid work model: Two days in-office.

The Vice President of Enterprise Applications Engineering for BKNG/BHI is responsible for overseeing the strategy architecture development and operation of the financial enterprise application systems across BHI & BKNG. This role requires visionary leadership to ensure that technological solutions align with business objectives maximizing productivity and operational excellence.

In this role you will get to:

• Lead the vision strategy and execution for all Enterprise Applications across the organization including Data & Analytics Corporate Financial Systems Treasury and Source-to-Pay.

• Drive the long-term roadmap and north star architecture for the Enterprise Applications team to ensure alignment with business and financial objectives.

• Manage the Enterprise Applications team providing strategic direction people management and ensuring timely reliable and scalable delivery of projects.

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and prioritize key technology developments that support business goals.

• Establish and maintain relationships with key leadership across all brands fostering a culture of partnership collaboration and trust.

• Oversee and optimize the governance framework for Enterprise Applications to ensure efficient decision-making and alignment across departments.

• Champion a think big mindset challenging assumptions and encouraging innovation and creative solutions to complex business problems.

• Drive large-scale financial systems projects from conception to completion ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

What you have:

• Extensive experience in leading Enterprise Applications for a fast-moving tech company

• Demonstrated experience in large-scale financial system (particularly ERP) transformation programs.

• Experience leading and implementing large-scale financial transformation programs

• Ability to engage and handle C-suite Senior collaborators across the group

• Industry authority i.e. Multi-year experience in running large cross-location teams handling sophisticated IT platforms (ideally Financial Systems) with large financial budgets and involving a range of large ERP vendors & System Integrators - CIO/Finance Transformation experience beneficial

• Bring standard processes to the organization design of Enterprise Applications in the context of a Tech company.

• Experience in a very global environment both in terms of business profile and teams inside the company.

• Experience handling very senior collaborators in a Holdings organization as well as leading multi-disciplinary tech teams including product engineering and data scientists.

• Knowledge of the latest trends in ERP systems and tax systems and an understanding of how they are being applied successfully at scale

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range including but not limited to external market benchmark data geographic location and years of experience sought/ addition to a competitive base salary roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.

The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $261000-$319900.
