About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career with an innovative and growing Community Housing Organisation. The Housing Facilities Coordinator plays a pivotal role overseeing all aspects of facilities management for the Baptcare Affordable Housing (BAH) social housing portfolio. You will benefit from the support and expertise of the BaptistCare Property division while working with a high degree of autonomy alongside the small and highly supportive housing operations team. The Housing Facilities Coordinator will help shape continual improvement in BAHs operations by reviewing and improving on systems and processes while overseeing all maintenance repairs and asset management functions.

What Youll Do

  • Execute asset management strategies across the property portfolio
  • Implement and improve existing FM systems & processes
  • Establish robust contract management frameworks to improve service delivery and financial outcomes
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and property inspections across multiple housing sites
  • Liaise with contractors suppliers and internal teams to resolve facility issues promptly
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Manage supply procurement and inventory for residential properties
  • Support housing staff with facility-related queries and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting on property conditions and maintenance activities

What Were Looking For

  • Significant experience in the community or public housing sector
  • Experience in facilities management property coordination or related field
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative approach
  • Understanding of building maintenance safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency with digital systems and record-keeping
  • A genuine commitment to supporting vulnerable community members
