Job Summary

Job Title: (BACKFILL) Project Manager

Location: Albany NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Qualification:

Proven experience managing and leading multiple large complex IT projects for U.S. Government agencies in the role of Project Manager. Large complex projects are defined as those with budgets exceeding $500000 durations longer than 12 months multiple funding sources (including Federal and grant funding) third-party vendor management external stakeholder coordination multi-level project teams and deployment to geographically dispersed end users.
Extensive experience developing and executing comprehensive project management plans including Charter Scope Schedule Cost Quality Communication Change Risk Issue and Resource management plans and overseeing these plans throughout the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
Skilled in creating and managing formal project schedules using project tracking tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) monitoring progress and variances against baselines and applying Waterfall Agile and Hybrid methodologies. Experienced in leveraging PM techniques such as scrum sessions to update schedules and providing clear schedule/status updates to ITS and client agency leadership.
Strong background in developing writing and managing detailed Scope Documents reviewing project deliverables overseeing the deliverable acceptance process and utilizing scope and deliverable management processes to control and manage project change requests.
Demonstrated expertise in project quality management including quality planning quality assurance end-to-end system testing quality control UAT defect and metrics management and quality governance.
Hands-on experience managing both COTS software implementation projects and in-house application development (SDLC) projects.
Holds Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
