Job Description
Ourclient is a100% Australian family-owned metal processing company based out of Darrain Brisbane. Theyprovide premium services for flat and tubular metal products offering laser-cuttingservices across the board Various vacancies available due to growth.
Constant development / training full time hours and opportunity to learn various facets within the industry.
Environment & Remuneration:
- Fast-paced production environment;
- Casual Rate $34per hour day Shift
- Penalties apply - Shift and Overtime
- High Risk Forklift License
- 5.00am - 1.30pm (DayShift) Monday to Friday;
- 6 months Casual then opportunity to go Permanent
The Roles:
Material Handler - Keeping the Machine Operators supplied with Raw metal material. Must have a Forklift License. Driving the forklift and bring stock over to their machine. Helping unload. Otherwise loading unloading trucks and containers and workshop duties as directed.
Trade Assistant - MUST have a Forklift License previous experience in drilling tapping countersinking ability to read drawings. will also need to start on day shift for training the first 4 weeks $32.50.
Chaser - MUST have a Forklift License responsible for feeding all machines with materials assisting operators with unloading beds and taking finished pallets to WIP locations plus any other duties as directed by team leader.
Your Duties:
- Physical labour duties working in a timely manner;
- Forklift operations
- Constant up skilling and job progression eventual training on CNC Machines.
About you:
- Metal workshop / Factory industry experience preferred.
- Forklift License required for machine and workshop labourer roles.
- Attitude and reliability goes a long way everything else can be taught
