Casual Art Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Casual Art Assistant to join our team.

In this position you will play a vital role in supporting the Art Department with administrative organisational and technical duties.

This is a casual position commencing in Term 1 2026.

The Role:

• In consultation with the classroom teacher provide technical support to students during their art classes
• Set up and pack down equipment for art classes
• Ensure materials and tools are cleaned maintained and stored correctly
• Maintain a safe learning environment
• Ad hoc administrative duties

The Person:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a school setting is desirable
• Experience with safe manual handling practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional time-management and problem-solving abilities

A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
