ABOUT THE ROLE
At HUB International the Technology and Operations Director of Learning and Change Enablement holds both leadership and management roles to lead an integrated Change Enablement & Learning function overseeing both Change Enablement and Learning Design teams that together drive successful technology adoption across the insurance brokerage enterprise and fundamentally reshape how 20000 employees experience technological change.
Primary Responsibilities and Activities
- Oversee a team of 15 professionals across two critical functionsChange Enablement and Learning Design.
- Oversee a portfolio of 20 concurrent learning and change initiatives.
- Build and maintain an integrated approach that recognizes learning and change as inseparable elements of organizational success.
- Develop strategies that address not just individual transformations but cumulative change impact.
- Build relationships with business operations leaders to understand unique enablement needs.
- Establish KPIs and success metrics that connect enablement efforts to business outcomes and measure how significant technology investments deliver promised value through effective adoption and mastery.
- Create a culture of innovation collaboration and continuous improvement and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across all enablement activities.
- Build organizational capability that extends beyond the direct team.

- Change Enablement Manager (team of 6)
- Learning Design Manager (team of 10)
Job Requirements
- 10 years of progressive change and learning experience with 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Business Organizational Development Education or related field strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of learning design and change management frameworks and best practices.
- Extensive experience with change management methodologies (Prosci Kotter ADKAR). Prosci or other change management certification preferred.
- Experience with change impact assessments stakeholder mapping and resistance management. Proficiency with collaboration tools survey platforms and adoption analytics.
- Extensive experience with instructional design models (ADDIE SAM Agile) and adult learning principles.
- Experience with LMS platforms authoring tools (Articulate Adobe Camtasia Canva) virtual classroom technologies and learning analytics.
- Proven track record leading teams of professionals across multiple disciplines.
- Professional certifications in change management learning design and/or leadership.
- Track record of continuous learning and development.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent clear direct compelling verbal and written communication and presentation skills including the ability to explain IT concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to staff.
- Deep expertise in developing people processes and capabilities.
- Extensive experience with technology-driven transformation in complex organizations.
- Understanding of insurance financial services or similar regulated industries.
- Knowledge of digital transformation trends and implications for workforce.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI automation analytics) and their human impact.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and drive results.
