Position Overview:
Edgesource is actively seeking a motivatedCapture Managerto join our existing Business Development team to contribute to the organizations continued growth and success within our Intelligence Community (IC) portfolio. The person in this role will be accountable for business growth and responsible for leading and winning services as well as solutions-based new business including competitive captures of significant size complexity and/or a unique/complex business model. This role will require on-site work in our Northern Virginia SCIF at least 3 days per week.


Job Duties:

  • Lead business development strategic initiatives that are consistent with the companys overall strategy as well as manage multiple business development initiatives concurrently.
  • Developing strong relationships with new and existing IC customers.
  • Write and edit classified proposal and Market Survey responses.
  • Establish and execute acapturemanagement business development process including the development of customer contact plans teaming partnerships strengthening of customer relationships determining key decision makers and mapping win strategies.
  • Work independently to pursue development of new business prospects and win major strategic opportunities.
  • Work with proposal sales and leadership teams to establish and drive marketing campaign plans for the IC market with messaging and themes for tradeshows conferences publications etc.
  • Provide accurate and timely long-term forecasting of prospective business opportunities.


Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 8 years of related work experience.
  • An already established network within the IC.
  • Experience with leading programs and businesscaptureinitiatives.
  • Experience working with and understanding of the IC Information Technology markets and customers.
  • Extensive knowledge of federal acquisition regulations and federal government budgeting processes.
  • Strong communication skills experienced with briefing senior business executives and customers.


Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

  • Advanced degree in a related field.
  • Possess an active security clearance.
  • Shipley Associates or other related training/certifications.
