  • Actsasreceptionistfor department and manager

  • Announcearrivalofpatientstocliniciansandescortpatientswhenappropriate.

  • Schedulingofpatientvisits

  • Schedulesnewandfollowupoutpatientappointmentsforallpatienttypesaccordingtoestablishedprocedures.

  • Completescheckformedicalnecessityofscheduledtestsandproceduresand communicatesdiscrepanciesincodingordocumentation totheappropriateparties.

  • Initial and ongoing insurance verification and certification for recurring or one time only accounts

  • Coordinateaccuratepatientdatatodeterminefinancialobligations.

  • Assistinobtainingandorupdatingverification/appropriatepre-certificationforallapplicablepatients.

  • Notifyappropriatepartiesregardingcoveragetoincludeestimateinadequatedeniedorreducedbenefits.

  • Faxneededreportstopayersmaintainingpatientconfidentiality.

  • Accurateandtimelydataentryofverification/certificationintopatientmanagementinformationsystems.

Work hours:

  • Full-time Day shifts: 40 hours per week.

  • Five 8-hour shifts; Monday to Friday; 7:30am 4:00pm
