Actsasreceptionistfor department and manager
Announcearrivalofpatientstocliniciansandescortpatientswhenappropriate.
Schedulingofpatientvisits
Schedulesnewandfollowupoutpatientappointmentsforallpatienttypesaccordingtoestablishedprocedures.
Completescheckformedicalnecessityofscheduledtestsandproceduresand communicatesdiscrepanciesincodingordocumentation totheappropriateparties.
Initial and ongoing insurance verification and certification for recurring or one time only accounts
Coordinateaccuratepatientdatatodeterminefinancialobligations.
Assistinobtainingandorupdatingverification/appropriatepre-certificationforallapplicablepatients.
Notifyappropriatepartiesregardingcoveragetoincludeestimateinadequatedeniedorreducedbenefits.
Faxneededreportstopayersmaintainingpatientconfidentiality.
Accurateandtimelydataentryofverification/certificationintopatientmanagementinformationsystems.

Full-time Day shifts: 40 hours per week.
Five 8-hour shifts; Monday to Friday; 7:30am 4:00pm
