Are you passionate about building strong relationships and driving strategic growth Were looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and work closely with a dedicated panel of high-value Vero brokers. This role is all about collaboration and partnering with brokers and internal teams to deliver exceptional service and support business growth and achieve shared goals.
What youll be doing:
Develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key broker contacts including executive-level stakeholders.
Gain a deep understanding of each brokers businessits structure culture challenges and goals.
Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting claims credit) to deliver tailored customer-focused solutions.
Lead joint business planning activities with brokers setting shared objectives and strategies for growth.
Prioritise and manage activities to deliver meaningful outcomes and exceed expectations.
What youll bring:
Experience in insurance and/or broking with a strong understanding of the general insurance market.
Proven success in sales and relationship management.
Commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
Understanding of medium to large business operations (highly desirable).
Knowledge of the broker landscape and key industry players.
