Pay Rate: $10/hr

Job Description:

The On-Campus Food Pantry Student Worker supports the daily operations of the campus food pantry by assisting with inventory distribution customer service outreach and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students. This position is ideal for students who are passionate about food security equity and student support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist pantry visitors in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Stock organize and rotate food and hygiene items following safety guidelines
  • Receive log and shelve donations and deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry space
  • Collect and record data for inventory and usage tracking
  • Ensure confidentiality and dignity of all pantry users
  • Promote pantry services through tabling flyers and social media
  • Collaborate with staff and student volunteers to support special events or initiatives
  • Uphold all food safety sanitation and campus protocols
