We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer / Architect with deep expertise in developing software stacks for passenger vehicle connected TCU (Telematics Control Unit) and Cluster solutions.
This role will be critical in defining software architecture applications and integration layers for connected car solutions using Android and Linux-based platforms. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in automotive-grade software development hands-on expertise in infotainment telematics and cluster development and deep knowledge of connected passenger vehicle systems.
Key Responsibilities: Software Development & ArchitectureArchitect and develop the software stack for Passenger Vehicle Connected TCU & Cluster solutions using Android and Linux platforms.
Define and implement middleware applications and system interfaces to support IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) and cluster-based solutions.
Work with Android BSP Linux Kernel HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and Android/iOS frameworks for automotive use cases.
Develop software components and applications for digital clusters infotainment and telematics in passenger vehicles.
Support multi-screen multi-modal UI development for Android-based instrument clusters.
Ensure seamless integration with cellular communication modules (4G 5G LTE GNSS Bluetooth WiFi and V2X).
Optimize real-time performance cybersecurity and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates for connected passenger vehicles.
Build Android and iOS applications supporting vehicle connectivity telematics and driver interaction.
Integrate Android Auto Apple CarPlay and custom Android UI frameworks for a seamless user experience.
Work with hardware and chipset vendors (Qualcomm MediaTek NXP STMicroelectronics etc.) to optimize software stacks.
Collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers ODMs and OEM engineering teams for design development and testing.
Integrate with CAN LIN and other in-vehicle communication protocols.
Software development for automotive connected mobility or embedded systems.
Expertise in Android Automotive OS (AAOS) Linux-based automotive stacks and embedded Linux (Yocto Ubuntu Buildroot).
Experience with Android BSP AOSP customization HAL and system bring-up.
Strong knowledge of middleware and application development for TCU infotainment and digital clusters.
Hands-on experience with C C Java Kotlin Python or GoLang for automotive applications.
Proficiency in connectivity protocols: 4G/5G LTE V2X Bluetooth WiFi GNSS MQTT and CAN.
Knowledge of OTA updates encryption and security frameworks for connected vehicles.
Experience with automotive-grade chipsets (Qualcomm Snapdragon MediaTek NXP etc.).
Familiarity with Android Auto Apple CarPlay and automotive UI/UX design.
Exposure to compliance standards: ISO 26262 MISRA C AUTOSAR.
Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards (UNECE WP.29 ISO 21434).
Experience with ADAS edge computing and AI-based automotive solutions.
Familiarity with cloud-based telematics predictive maintenance and data analytics.
Hands-on collaboration with global passenger vehicle OEMs Tier 1 suppliers and ODMs.
