Job Description
Position Description:
As an Enterprise Architect at CGI you will play a strategic role with our clients by supporting them in analyzing optimizing and transforming their technology landscape. Embedded within a project leadership team you will be responsible for identifying IT optimization opportunities recommending the best solutions and turning a strategic vision into concrete action plans aligned with business objectives.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Identify and assess opportunities to optimize and consolidate the IT portfolio.
Define and propose strategies aligned with business capabilities and transformation objectives.
Prioritize and quantify initiatives based on business value risks and interdependencies.
Develop clear and structured action plans for CGIs technical teams.
Provide tools indicators and dashboards to support decision-making.
Assess technology maturity and define continuous improvement roadmaps.
Act as a trusted advisor and influencer with the CIO business leaders and key stakeholders.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
What You Bring
10 years of IT experience including at least 5 years in an enterprise architecture role.
Strong expertise in digital transformation IT optimization and governance.
Deep understanding of issues related to technical debt obsolescence and their impact on business efficiency.
Ability to build compelling business cases and prioritize opportunities based on value.
Proficiency with business capability models (BCM) and architecture methodologies (TOGAF BizBok).
Familiarity with maturity frameworks (e.g. Gartner) and performance tools (an asset).
Demonstrated experience collaborating with CIOs business leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication storytelling and influence leadership skills.
Fluency in French and English.

Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
Use of the term architect in this job posting refers to the technical sense related to Information Technology (IT) and does not imply that the individual practices architecture or possesses the requisite license as prescribed by the applicable provincial or territorial architect regulator. We are seeking individuals with expertise in IT architect-related functions but licensure from an architect regulator is not a prerequisite for this position. Architecture is a regulated profession in Canada which is restricted in terms of use of titles and designation.
