Job Description
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Develop and manage the organizations audit processes in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors International Professional Practice Framework ensuring best-in-class audit practices.
- Lead the design and execution of a comprehensive risk-based audit plan addressing business risks and control concerns identified by management or the Audit & Risk Committee.
- Collaborate with business leaders to define the scope and objectives for each audit ensuring thorough risk assessments and targeted control evaluations.
- Engage and manage external providers of internal audit services ensuring effective oversight and alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of audit work papers and reports ensuring compliance with internal standards and accuracy before presenting to senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee.
- Mentor guide and develop internal audit professionals creating opportunities for continuous skill development and career progression within the team.
- Lead internal reviews of business processes risk management practices and control systems providing actionable insights that enhance business performance and ensure the adequacy of internal controls.

What Youll Do
- Lead the development and execution of the internal audit strategy and annual audit plan
- Provide independent assurance to the Audit Committee and senior leadership on risk management control and governance processes
- Oversee complex audits across financial operational and compliance areas
- Deliver clear actionable insights and recommendations to improve business performance
- Manage and mentor a high performing audit team
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance Legal Risk and Operations to embed a culture of continuous improvement
- Stay ahead of regulatory changes and industry best practices
What Were Looking For
- ACA ACCA or CIA qualified with significant post-qualification experience
- Proven track record in leading internal audit functions within complex organisations
- Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks audit methodologies and corporate governance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence at Board level and drive strategic change
