Job Summary:
Genesis East Region is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations at Pocahontas Center. This temporary contract position offers a 12-week assignment with opportunities for bonuses based on start and completion. The DON will provide leadership and direction for nursing staff ensuring high-quality patient care compliance with regulatory standards and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Supervise mentor and evaluate nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery.
Manage daily operations of the nursing department and coordinate patient care activities.
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations including infection control and documentation standards.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Handle scheduling staffing and resource allocation to meet facility needs.
Maintain accurate records and reports for administration and regulatory purposes.

Requirements:

Current Nursing License in WV.
Proven experience as Director of Nursing or in a senior clinical leadership role.
Strong organizational leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of state/federal healthcare regulations and standards.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Period: 09/29/2025 12/20/2025
Location: Pocahontas Center Marlinton WV
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
$1000 Quick Start Bonus (must start within 72 hours of offer)
$1000 Completion Bonus upon assignment completion
