The NSW Energy Security Corporation (ESC) is currently seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to lead the corporation through this exciting period of growth and development. As Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Energy Security Corporation you will be responsible for leading the organisation in fulfilling its statutory and investment mandate under theEnergy Security Corporation Act 2024 (NSW)to accelerate private sector investment in clean energy technologies that enhance the reliability security and sustainability of electricity supply across New South Wales. The CEO provides visionary and strategic leadership fostering innovation and collaboration across government industry and the investment community.
As a highly influential and accountable executive the CEO demonstrates integrity sound judgment and a commitment to public value while driving performance and delivering a government-mandated rate of return through a diversified investment portfolio in NSW.

Who we are
The Energy Security Corporation is a government-backed clean energy investor with a clear public mandate: to accelerate investment in large-scale storage and enabling infrastructure to support a reliable and secure electricity system for New South Wales. Our role is to unlock private capital by co-investing in clean energy projects that support energy system reliability. With flexible financing tools we help close investment gaps and move priority projects forward.
