Administrative Director Emergency Services Location: Houston TX 77001
Shift: 12-hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Assignment Duration: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Major Responsibilities:
Quality:
- Cultivate a superior clinical identity by identifying and implementing evidence-based practices that enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to standards of care and manage variation in clinical practice to improve efficiency effectiveness and cost.
- Promote a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care.
- Monitor internal and external benchmarks accreditations and designations actively pursuing their achievement.
- Maintain knowledge of legal and regulatory standards to ensure compliance; develop and implement policies and procedures accordingly.
- Lead patient throughput strategies including capacity planning volume forecasting patient flow coordination and admission/discharge planning.
- Oversee nursing practice and unit operations developing policies and nursing standards to meet patient and family needs.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years recent acute care Emergency Department Director or Manager experience (Manager considered if from a large ED or specific reporting structure).
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Masters Degree preferred.
