Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care and possess excellent communication skills to build lasting relationships with our clients. You will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians technicians and support staff and will work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Manager. The schedule is expected to be daytime hours Friday Saturday & Sunday *or Saturday Sunday & Monday.
Western Carolina Regional Animal Hospital & Emergency Hospital is a AAHA accredited and VECCS Level 2 Certified Emergency and Critical Care facility and is well equipped to allow you to practice the highest level of care. On a tour of our hospital you will find in house labs digital radiographs (including digital dental rads) endoscopy and laparoscopy capabilities. This position offers a unique opportunity for lifestyle balance practice state of the art veterinary medicine and live in the recreational and cultural center of the Southern Appalachian Mountains. We are located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains between the beautiful towns of Hendersonville and Flat Rock North Carolina. There are an incredible number of outdoor opportunities here: hiking mountain and road cycling rock climbing paddling fishing and camping. Life is a little bit slower in the mountains so there is time to sip your coffee at a local cafe or enjoy a beer at one of the NC microbreweries.
