Job Description: Testing Lead (Manual Automation experience)
Location: Bangalore Preferred Exp: 6 or more years
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to oversee our testing efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and the ability to lead a team of testers to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the testing team across multiple projects.
Design develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using tools like Selenium TestNG Cucumber Appium or similar.
Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for automation testing. Demonstrate ability to self-learn and apply advanced features of the framework to optimize test scripts and improve execution efficiency. Actively exploring best practices and advanced capabilities to enhance automation coverage and maintainability.
Define and implement test strategies plans and processes for both manual and automated testing.
Collaborate with development DevOps and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
Hands on JIRA use - Identify record and track bugs thoroughly.
Ensure timely execution of test cases and reporting of test results.
Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in testing and automation.
Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and coverage.
Manage test planning estimation and resource allocation.
Track and report test metrics and quality indicators to stakeholders.
Ensure adherence to test management processes and compliance standards.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies documentation on Confluence
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
7 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in a lead role.
Strong hands-on experience in automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cypress Playwright JUnit TestNG).
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java Python or JavaScript.
Good to have
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with performance and security testing is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.
Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
