Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team at Moustache Escapes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting high-quality cocktails providing exceptional customer service and creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with our menu and recipes.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner taking drink orders and providing recommendations when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area including stocking ingredients glassware and utensils.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
- Create unique and innovative cocktails while also being proficient in classic cocktail recipes.
- Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately for processing payments.
- Engage with guests making them feel comfortable and appreciated while maintaining a fast-paced and efficient service.
- Collaborate with the waitstaff and kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and timely service.
- Upsell and promote special drinks or events to enhance the customer experience.
- Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge of mixology and beverage trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bartender in a high-volume establishment.
- Excellent knowledge of drink mixing techniques and cocktail recipes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering top-notch drinks.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
- TIPS or equivalent certification is a plus.
