Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Bartender in the heart of Mumbai Indias bustling metropolis! Were seeking an enthusiastic and skilled professional to craft exceptional beverages and create memorable experiences for our diverse clientele in one of the citys most vibrant nightlife destinations.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including classic cocktails innovative signature drinks and local favorites
- Provide friendly attentive and professional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of drink recipes bar products and current trends in mixology
- Ensure the bar area is clean organized and well-stocked at all times
- Manage inventory place orders and maintain accurate records of sales and stock levels
- Comply with all local liquor laws health regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
- Handle cash transactions and credit card payments accurately and efficiently
- Assist in creating and updating drink menus including seasonal specials
- Participate in staff training sessions and share knowledge with team members
Qualifications :
- Minimum of one year experience in food and beverage service preferably in a restaurant or bar setting
- Previous bartending experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge and passion for wines spirits and beer
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g. TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol)
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse clientele
- Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Physical stamina to lift trays stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work holidays weekends and various shifts as needed
- Knowledge of local liquor laws and regulations
- Creativity and enthusiasm for crafting innovative cocktails and contributing to menu development
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing needs
