Most of the work will be computer-based so having good typing skills (at least 30 words per minute) and being proficient in data entry is recommended.
With most data being input into computer systems a strong familiarity with using the internet toggling between browsers multiple computer screens and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite and its components is helpful.
This position requires extensive contact with the public and being able to be empathetic while explaining the need for information or determining benefits is highly recommended.
