Deputy Room Leader (Level 3 Early Years) 13.30 per hour 40 hours Outstanding Ofsted Nursery
Our client an Ofsted Outstanding early years setting is looking for a caring and motivated Deputy Room Leader to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified childcare professional who wants to take the next step in their career supporting high-quality childcare and learning in a nurturing inclusive environment.
As Deputy Room Leader you will work closely with the Room Leader to support the smooth running of your room ensuring children receive the very best start in life. This role is full time 40 hours per week and is ideal for someone with strong early years experience who is passionate about creating inspiring child-centred learning opportunities.
Youll lead by example support staff development and help maintain the warm welcoming environment the nursery is known for.
What Were Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) essential.
- Previous experience in an early years setting ideally in a leadership or senior role.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Warm approachable and committed to inclusive practice.
- Organised reliable and able to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Room Leader in the daily management of the room.
- Deliver engaging age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
- Provide a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.
- Support and mentor team members ensuring high standards of practice.
- Build positive professional relationships with children families and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate observations assessments and records of childrens progress.
- Uphold safeguarding health and safety and nursery policies at all times.
