We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Deputy Manager to assist in the day-to-day management and progressive development of services for adults with learning disabilities in alignment with the Social Services Committees policy objectives and the principles of the Community Care and NHS Act.
This role involves supporting service users and carers through the review and evaluation of individual programmes maintaining accurate records and contributing to the growth of day services both within the Centre and the wider community. You will represent the manager at meetings participate in multi-disciplinary planning and help oversee medication arrangements and service statements to ensure each individual lives a fulfilling life.
Operational responsibilities include staff supervision deployment development and communication as well as assisting with recruitment training and rota planning. The role also includes general management duties such as budget administration health and safety compliance and assuming leadership in the managers absence.
