Job Description

Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Job Location: New York City NY
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

  • Design Code and test changes to the UST Algo
  • Enhance integration of UST Algo with additional broker markets Fenics and DealerWeb
  • Expand quoting on D2C markets Tradeweb Bloomberg MarketAxess
  • Very hands on role and associate should be able to write code on daily basis
  • Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Candidate Must Have-Skills:

  • Full stack developer to support a treasury D2C (Dealer to customer) pricing and hedging workflow.
  • Languages C Java Python
  • Know eTrading concepts and automation
  • Knowledge of US treasury market trading
  • Can work from requirement gathering through code development and testing
  • Will need to offer 2nd level support of existing eTrading setup
  • Familiarity with Git and Maven /code builds and ion integration knowledge will be greatly valued
