What youll do

SAP Design is seeking a Design System Expert Operations & Enablementto join our team in Sofia this role you will combine your deep expertise in design systems with a strong operational mindset to help drive efficiency alignment and delivery across one of SAPs most strategic design teams.

Reporting to the VP of the SAP Web Design System youll ensure operational excellence supporting cross-functional collaboration with our development partner and support strategic initiatives. Youll orchestrate planning streamline internal processes and act as a trusted partner to both leadership and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design System Enablement: Support the planning governance and evolution of guidelines components and tooling.
• Operational Excellence: Improve internal workflows track team deliverables and ensure smooth execution.
• Strategic Support: Partner with the VP to manage strategic initiatives prepare briefings and follow up on key actions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Enable collaboration between design development and LOBs.
• Documentation & Communication: Help structure internal documentation meeting cadences and reporting.

What you bring

• 7 years of experience working in design systems UX program management or design operations
• Strong understanding of design system concepts (e.g. components tokens Figma workflows) and the ability to translate them into structured processes
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and driving alignment between design development and product functions
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage complexity and multiple priorities
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
• Proactive detail-oriented and passionate about building scalable effective design practices
