Job Description

The Division of Banking and Finance at Nanyang Business School Nanyang Technological University is seeking part-time lecturers to teach undergraduate courses in applied mathematics for business students starting from August 2026. Teaching will primarily take place on weekdays with occasional Saturday sessions for make-up classes if needed.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should hold a masters degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as statistics applied mathematics actuarial science quantitative finance data science computer science or a closely related field.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability and a strong passion for teaching at the university level.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of our efforts to expand and strengthen our quantitative curriculum the Division seeks versatile educators who can deliver clear well-structured and engaging instruction in applied mathematics and related subjects tailored to the learning needs of business undergraduates. Successful candidates will be expected to teach with a strong emphasis on real-world business applications making mathematical concepts accessible and relevant to students.
