Job Summary
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join Bosch for a fulfilling internship opportunity! This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in a corporate environment allowing you to contribute to ongoing projects while learning from experienced professionals. As an Intern AI-based Controls for Sustainable HVACs you will support experimental & data analytics (AI/ML) activities for the development of intelligent energy management solutions for Residential Air Conditioners (RAC) in collaboration with experienced team members.
What you will do (Key Responsibilities)
Develop optimization and AI based algorithms for energy management using reinforcement learning.
Ensure a smooth operation of RAC tests data collection analysis and validation.
Develop algorithms to minimize RAC energy cost and maximize user comfort.
Use suitable reinforcement learning algorithm to develop a smarter decision maker for AC settings.
Validate concepts in Robert Bosch SEA Corporate Research HVAC testbed/lab and using real data from thousands of field units.
Execute and analyze experiment results with statistical tools to validate control performance.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)
Able to work full time for a period of 6 months (Jan 2026 till July 2026)
Educational background in AI/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Experienced in statistical data analysis and ML/AI tools
Basic understanding of thermodynamics air conditioning operation
Knowledge of sensors data acquisition processing and visualization.
