A great opportunity has come up as a Production Technician based in our electronics lab at the Emerson Stavanger Factory.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Work on assembly and testing of various topside subsea and downhole products manufactured in the Electronics lab
- Soldering of both SMD and HMT on PCBs
- Laser welding
- Documentation of activities to ensure accurate quality and collaboration with the development team and production management
- Assist in improving production reports to improve quality minimizing process waste and boosting efficiency.

You are a positive person who can work independently but also collaborate well in a team.
You work in a structured manner you have a good sense of order and you are committed detailed and responsible.
You contribute to efficient production and maintaining high quality in our products.
For This Role You Will Need:
- Interest in technology and attention to detail
- Technical college or similar and certificate of apprenticeship as an electronic technician
- Proven experience can compensate for lack of formal education
- Good collaboration skills and basic computer skills
- High focus and knowledge of ESD 5S1 and HSE
- Ability to read interpret and follow written visual and verbal work instructions in English.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience with subsea or downhole electronics
- IPC-610 certificate
