About the Project/Department
Our clients Subsea Facilities (SF) sector is a competence and resource unit responsible for all Subsea Facilities resources in the project portfolio between DG0 and DG4. The main task is to provide projects with project engineers task and project managers and to develop personnel competence across technical disciplines.
The Subsea Facilities disciplines include:
- Subsea Production Systems and Processing Systems
- Subsea Control Systems
- Umbilicals and Subsea Cables
- Subsea Power Cable
- Risers and Flexible Pipes
- Flowlines Trunklines and Onshore Pipelines
The team is organized as a competence center working on a broad set of deliveries. A New Execution Model (NEM) is being implemented for SURF projects focusing on standardization of processes and improved collaboration internally and with contractors.
Description of Tasks and Responsibilities
- Experience with subsea structures manifolds subsea systems or operations.
- Concept development and screening.
- Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements.
- Tendering and evaluation activities.
- Preparing technical documents for project sanction studies and contract tendering.
- Contractor follow-up during studies project execution and technology qualification.
- Sporadic offshore work may be relevant.
