Someone who sees traditional search local discovery app stores and the new world of AI-powered answers not as separate channels but as a connected universe of opportunity. This isnt about chasing algorithms; its about building an organic growth engine that makes the entire PhonePe Group the most discovered and trusted name in Indias digital life.

Your Mission Should You Choose to Accept It.

Your mission is to architect the PhonePe Groups entire organic footprint for today and tomorrow. Youll be the brain behind our discovery strategy the master of our local presence and the champion of our apps in the marketplaces. You will master the art of ensuring the right user discovers the right solution from our ecosystem at the perfect moment.

Heres What Youll Actually Be Doing:

• Master the World of Answers (AEO & SEO):Youll go beyond ranking links to make our portfoliotheanswer. Youll architect our domain strategy optimize our content to own featured snippets and voice search results and build an authoritative backlink profile for the entire ecosystem.

• Pioneer Generative Engine Optimization (GEO):Youll be our guide to the future of discovery. You will develop our group-wide strategy for generative AI engines ensuring our family of brands is accurately and favorably represented in the next wave of AI-powered search and chat.

• Own the Map (Local Discovery):Youll put our locally-relevant businesses on every digital street corner in India. You will orchestrate the strategy for all our local business listings turning them into powerful synergistic customer acquisition channels.

• Conquer the App Stores (ASO):Youll manage the ASO strategy for our entire portfolio of apps. Youll run a high-tempo A/B testing lab for icons and screenshots develop unique keyword strategies for each app to maximize discovery without cannibalization and create a flywheel of positive ratings and reviews.

• Build Our Collective Brain (Center of Excellence):You will lead the charge in building our teams second braina central AI-ready knowledge base that captures every experiment win and lesson learned across our entire portfolio. Youll design the system to capture this intelligence and create a culture of shared learning benchmarking us against the best teams in the world and keeping our collective skills razor-sharp.

Your First 90-Day Challenge

Level 1: The Audit.Jump in and map our entire organic universe. Youll conduct a full portfolio audit across SEO AEO Local and ASO presenting a Heres where we win and heres the future we need to build plan.

Level 2: The Quick Wins.Youll deploy the high-impact fixes first. Youll optimize our top-level local listings refresh our app store metadata and capture low-hanging fruit in the world of answer engine optimization.Level 3: The Long Game.Youll launch your first major strategic initiative. This could be a new hyperlocal content strategy a systematic A/B testing plan for our app store visuals or our first official experiment in Generative Engine Optimization.

Were Looking for Someone Who

...has been deep in the organic growth game for 3-5 years and has a portfolio of wins ideally with experience managing multiple brands or a large complex company.

...sees technical SEO a perfectly optimized local listing and a high-converting app screenshot as three forms of the same a tool master. You know your way around industry-standard SEO tools (for crawling analytics and backlink analysis) and leading ASO intelligence obsessed with not just ranking butbecoming the answer and is genuinely excited to pioneer strategy for the new frontier of generative AI search.
