Responsibilities
Manage Showroom Operations: Oversee the daily operations including maintaining the showrooms appearance layout and product displays to align with brand standards.
Lead and Develop Staff: Hire train and mentor showroom staff; provide guidance delegate tasks and conduct performance appraisals to motivate the team and meet sales goals.
Drive Sales and Customer Satisfaction: Manage sales activities to meet sales objectives handle customer inquiries and complaints and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
Manage Inventory and Suppliers: Coordinate with suppliers maintain optimal inventory levels and manage purchasing and order fulfillment to ensure a seamless process.
Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit weekly sales inventory and other performance reports. Handle store administration and ensure compliance with company policies.
Merchandising and Marketing: Optimize product placement coordinate promotional campaigns and assist with marketing efforts to drive traffic and sales.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Interior Design or a related field is often preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in retail management sales or client relationship management preferably in the furniture or interior design industry.
Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership team management communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Other Skills: Excellent organizational skills a strong understanding of design trends and the ability to assess client needs and provide creative solutions.
